this project is inspired by skimboarding, good times, and friends on the island of kauai.
the graphic began as a freestyle ink sketch on paper, was scanned and cleaned up digitally, then sent out for printing on the fabric.
i was impressed how well the thin lines transferred to the fabric via heat-transfer process on this ribbed women’s long-sleeve tee.
i also made a blue on blue version and had it made into a button to see how it would print.
