the goal of this project was to create a custom headdress for a video clip and stage appearances.
the finished product had to be convincing enough from a distance and fall within the severe budget and time constraints of the project.
much of the framework was carved from foam and, aside from fabric, one of the main surface texture finishes came from gold foil chocolate bar wrappers.
this was a fun challenge and the costume was well received by audience and organizers.
