back to school for t!
off to school pics...working on the master plan, some art around the house, and more experimental baking...our very first homemade wholewheat bread and honey-maple granola for breakfast...in other news, dave is granted a spouse visa to live and work in japan...
大学院での勉強開始！ 入学式なんてものはないのですが、ちょっと記念に写真を撮ってみました。
ヘルシーにほんのちょっとだけ足を踏み入れて、グラノラと自家製パンを作りました。
手作りはやはりおいしいです。
デイブがベランダにすだれを設置してくれたので飾りを付けました．ハワイを思い出しながらベランダを眺める・・・テーマはやはりハワイ・・・カード作りが趣味なので、カードをよく気遣ってくださるカナダのAunt Normaへ送りました。
それと、デイブは配偶者ビザ３年を取得しました！おめでとう！

outstanding in the (rice)field and goin' down to tha river...
we got back to the roots in the garden and the rice fields, visiting grandparents and relaxing in the countryside for a couple of days...
お盆のころ・・・
丹波篠山のおばあちゃん家ではデイブが畑仕事のお手伝いをしたりして、大活躍！

私（たまき）は近くの芦屋川に降りれることを発見し、散歩がてらよく出かけました。

芦屋ビーチへ何度か行ってきました。
カナダから帰ってきてから芦屋浜でスキムボードや日光浴、花火大会もありました。

july 6-july 15...a couple of days in calgary, and a week on the farm in northern alberta...lots of art, skateboarding, eating great food, and catching up with old and new friends...
カナダ旅行 パート２
７月６日から７月１５日、数日はカルガリーで過ごし、それ以外はアルバータ北部（デイブの祖父母のところ）で過ごしました。
おばあちゃんの家の表札を描いたり、スケートパークに絵をデザインしたりとクリエイティブな日々でした。
私は生まれて初めて銃を手にしました！！農家では作物の悪さをするゴーファー（ホリネズミ）を銃で退治するようです。
私も挑戦しましたが、残念ながら失敗におわりました。
それ以外にもおいしい料理や、親戚との再会、昔の友達にも会えてあっと言う間でした。

june 26-july 5...a week at camp qwanoes for junior high 1 and a night in victoria...lots of hanging out with skate kids, a deck design, some set construction, pyro consultation, and catching up with old and new friends...
カナダ旅行 パート１
６月２６日から７月５日までキャンプ（中学生１２歳から１５歳くらい）、ビクトリアで一泊、様々なスケートボードパークで時間を過ごしました。
デイブがデザインしたスケートボード、キャンプではステージや、花火の監督もしました。
古い友達、新しい友達との時間は良い思い出です。

結婚１１ヶ月を迎えました。今月は新型インフルエンザで学校も休校になりました。デイブもマスクを・・・道行く人もデイブの姿にはびっくりしてました。

dave's first trip to nara...and on the new train line...cherry blossoms, a sushi picnic in the park, and a visit to todaiji temple for some beautiful architecture and scenery rounded out the day...
a homemade cake for the birthday boy also contributed to the party scene this month...
結婚10ヶ月を迎えました。阪神・近鉄線ができたので奈良へ行ってきました。桜、公園での柿の葉寿司、東大寺へ散策・・・４月２６日はデイブの誕生日だったのでケーキを焼きました。

another amazing japanese feast by tamaki...a saturday seminar on educational leadership at temple university...and homemade chocolate cake with vienna cream icing by dave (thanks to ma and ba for the recipes!)...
spring cleaning and decorating involved finally framing some pics by an artist friend harada~san (marshmallow kings love set beach) and a photographer friend tasha hakeem (lili'uokalani garden in hilo)
結婚９ヶ月を迎えました。写真上段 ちょっとしたしゃぶしゃぶ、大阪の景色、デイブが作ったミントチョコレートケーキ（カナダのお母さんとベスアンのレシピを参考に）
春休みなので部屋の掃除をしました。何枚かのポスターを壁にかけたり・・・ 写真下段 原田さんのポスター（マシュマロキング）、ターシャの撮った写真のポスターの前で読書ポーズをする私・・・

プロポーズから一年・・・なんばパークス、カウイナバーガーへ１年ぶりに行ってきました。
私（たまき）の好きな詩（果樹園での会話／エリザベス・チーニー）を書いて、写真立てに入れて、写真立てにも少しデザインを入れてみました。いい感じに出来上がって、自分で満足しています。またほかにもトライしたいな〜

実はこれリーアンとアンディーが極秘に日本へ持ってきてくれた特別なシチューなんです。リーアン・アンディありがとう。翌日の日曜日は初めて手作りのナンとハニーブレッドをのせたコーンブレッドを作りました。初めてにしては上出来：）で、感謝です。
