this information is for invited guests if you have received an invitation to attend, please reply with your info as soon as possible. the cut off date to reserve your place at the reception is may 5th, all responses after that date may attend the ceremony, but we will not be able to place you at the reception dinner. rsvp instructions below
who
this will be a small event due to time and planning constrictions, and we understand the difficulty of long distance travel and accomodations. the invitations on the canadian family side are for parents and siblings, their spouses and children... the invitations on the japanese family side are for parents, siblings, parent's siblings and their children... a few friends of the bride and groom have generously offered to help facilitate the event and will also be included on the guest list

aloha formal
...for those not familiar: for men this is usually long pants and a nice aloha shirt, a light sports jacket is optional.
for ladies this can be a nice muumuu (formal is usually long) or nice dress with shoes or nice sandals.
sandals and/or barefeet are ok for the ceremony at the seaside, but shoes will be necessary when we go in for dinner.
why
to celebrate and commemorate the marriage of tamaki and dave.
how
we will gather at around 3:30pm and start by 4:00pm, following the ceremony, there will be a time for photos and mingling and we will transition to the reception at about 5pm (walking distance) for a 6pm meal.
gifts
because of international travel and weight issues tamaki and dave will not really be able to accept any gifts at the wedding.
