Welcome to the Febuary edition of the AIS Elementary newsletter.
Please remember to return your progress reports by February 9th. Welcome to the second half of our school year! One of our class themes will be to focus on effective "communication". We will learn about talking to teachers, friends, family and to God. Miss Grace will be visiting us and teaching us Bible stories.
Another focus will be on "connection". We will talk about how things are related and work together in science, in social studies, in math, and writing.
Within our themes of "communication" and "connection" we want to learn about the idea of heart, or true honesty. It is so important to realize that our inside reasons are more important than our outward actions. If our inside reasons are not good, even our helpful actions are not helpful and even our kind words are not kind. We will all practice being kind and helpful to show love to others and to God.
