the canvas for this piece is a well used surfboard that has seen better days. this piece was inspired by the beauty and power of the water crashing on the shores of kauaʻi. tamakizushi came up with the color scheme and helped with some of the fills. we finished the background back in march but took a break from it to get back in the zone again.
acrylic, posca-uni, and a clear coat to seal it.
